Q265GNH weathering steel plate is a low-alloy structural steel with a protective rust layer to resist atmospheric corrosion and can be used to manufacture steel structures such as vehicles, bridges, towers and containers. Compared with plain carbon steel, Q265GNH weathering steel plate has better corrosion resistance in the atmosphere. Compared with stainless steel, Q265GNH weathering steel plate only trace amounts of alloying elements, such as phosphorus, copper, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, niobium, vanadium, titanium, etc., the total amount of alloying elements account for only a few percent, unlike stainless steel, up to more than ten percent, so the price is cheaper.
Q265GNH weathering steel plate (i.e., atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel) in the integration of modern metallurgical new mechanisms, new technologies and new processes to sustainable development and, is one of the world's super steel technology frontier level of the series of steel. Weathering resistance for the ordinary carbon steel 2 ~ 8 times, coating for the ordinary carbon steel 1.5 ~ 10 times, can reduce the use, use or simplify the use of coating. The steel has the characteristics of rust resistance, corrosion resistance and life extension, thinning and energy saving, which benefit the component manufacturers and users.
