Weathering steel, that is, atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel, is a series of low-alloy steel between ordinary steel and stainless steel, weathering steel from ordinary carbon steel with a small amount of copper, nickel and other corrosion-resistant elements, with high-quality steel, strong, plastic extension, forming, welding, abrasion, high temperature, fatigue resistance and other characteristics; weather resistance for ordinary carbon steel 2 ~ 8 times, coating for ordinary carbon steel 1.5 ~ 10 times. Used in the manufacture of containers, railway vehicles, oil derricks, harbor buildings, oil recovery platforms and chemical and petroleum equipment containing hydrogen sulfide corrosive media in the container and other structural components.
