Aluminum alloy 7075 aluminum flat steel is the most commonly used with zinc as the main alloying element. It has very good mechanical strength and also shows very good ductility, good toughness and fatigue resistance. It is more susceptible to microscopic segregation than other aluminum alloys, but has very good resistance to general corrosion.
