Aluminum 6063 hexagonal bar is also considered UNS A96063 round bar and is primarily a medium strength alloy. It also contains other contents, such as magnesium and silicon. The bar has excellent surface finish and formability. The bars are resistant to high heat and high consumption. As a result, they also exhibit excellent corrosion resistance in high temperature environments. These grades of bars offer excellent durability, longer life and tensile strength.
These bars have good machinability and mechanical properties. Thus, the anodizing process helps to provide safety from erosion to the exposed product. These are easily formed and welded by various welding techniques.
