Hongguan
2024 hexagonal bar is widely used for its good performance and other properties. It is recognized as a highly durable and high strength aluminum alloy that provides excellent fatigue resistance. Because of its excellent properties, this grade is used in a variety of structures and other industries where strength-to-weight ratios are required. Aluminum 2024 hexagonal bar has moderate corrosion resistance and is often clad to improve grade details. The grade can be formed under improved tempering conditions and then further heat treated.
Other characteristics offered by aluminum 2024 hexagonal bars are excellent resistance to pitting in chloride environments, resistance to acidic environments, resistance to crevice corrosion, good strength, good weldability, resistance to stress cracking corrosion, and excellent formability at a wide range of high pressures and temperatures.
