Hongguan
Series 431 is a steel with good strength and toughness among martensitic stainless steels. It has good corrosion resistance to oxidizing acids, most organic acids and aqueous solutions of organic salts. It is generally used in the pumping of nitric and acetic acid, as well as shafts, piston channels, pumps and other parts of light industry, textile and other industries that require both toughness and corrosion resistance.
431 stainless steel containing nickel-chromium steel through heat treatment can obtain higher mechanical properties, its corrosion resistance is better than 410 steel and 430 steel. 431 stainless steel corresponds to China's 1Cr17Ni2, Japan's JIS SUS431.
