Hongguan
Hongguan Steel is a well known manufacturer, distributor and trader of SS 347/347H square steel, which is stabilized by the addition of titanium to stabilize the formation of chromium carbide.SS 347 square steel has good oxidation resistance comparable to most other austenitic stainless steels. These stainless steel 347H square bars have excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to chromium carbide precipitation temperatures in the range of 800 degrees F to 1500 degrees F. SS 347 square bar is a niobium/tantalum stabilized austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel that was developed to provide an 18-8 type alloy with improved intergranular corrosion properties. Because these elements in SS 347H square bar have a stronger affinity for carbon than chromium, carbides precipitate inside the grain rather than forming at grain boundaries.
