Hongguan
SS 317/317L grades have many distinguishing features, including corrosion resistance, high strength, good ductility, durability and extended service life. They also have strong creep fracture properties, high tensile strength and resistance to stress cracking. Suitable for use in a variety of corrosive and acidic media. Due to this composition containing nickel and chromium, SS 317L coils are corrosion resistant, have high tensile strength, and are long lasting. It has excellent heat transfer coefficient, thermal and electrical conductivity. SS 317 is a modified version of another stainless steel alloy with molybdenum alloy accumulation. This is done to increase strength and improve resistance to porous corrosion. SS 317 alloy sheet has excellent toughness and thermal strength. On the other hand, 317L stainless steel is a lower carbon version of the 317 grade alloy with the same corrosion resistance and strength. They both have high tensile strength and high stress rupture ratio.
