SS 316/316Ti angles have excellent corrosion resistance and can be used in a variety of corrosive environments. This type of stainless steel is susceptible to pitting and crevice corrosion in warm chloride environments, stress corrosion cracking above 60 degrees C. It is available as a general purpose stainless steel with good resistance to atmospheric corrosion and a wide range of organic and inorganic chemicals as well as food and beverages. It has both chromium (usually 18%) and nickel (usually 8%) as its main non-ferrous constituents and is a variant of the basic 18-8 grade, 202 type angle steel with a high chromium content and a low carbon content. Since AISI 316/316Ti stainless steel has a chromium and nickel content of 18% and 8%, respectively, SUS 316/316Ti stainless steel has a maximum carbon content of 0.08%.ASTM A276 SS 316/316Ti angles can be easily fabricated, and they also have the highest forming capacity. High corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance make these angles suitable for deep sea conditions. SS 1.4435/1.4571 angles resist oxidation during infrequent use and up to 870 ° C and 925 ° C during continuous use. SS 316/316Ti angles are very effective for the price, so they are widely used in several applications.
