Hongguan
Stainless Steel 310, combining excellent high temperature properties with good weldability and ductility, is designed for high temperature service. SS 310 resists oxidation in continuous service at temperatures up to 1150°C as long as reducing sulfur gases are not present. SS 310 can also be used for intermittent service at temperatures up to 1040°C.
When the application environment involves moist corrosive materials, SS 310S can be used in a temperature range below what is normally considered "high temperature" service. The low carbon content of SS 310S does reduce its high temperature strength when compared to 310.
