304 stainless steel beams：Thinner plates have higher strength values. The plate specification is A240 for pressure vessels and high temperature applications.ASTM A240 SS 304 plate can withstand high temperatures up to 870 degrees Celsius. Plates are used for this reason in evaporators, heat exchangers and other high temperature applications. Stainless steel 304 plate is also used in drums, barrels, dairy equipment, food processing and hospital equipment.
This is the most cost effective grade of steel. Therefore, the price of 304 stainless steel beams is lower compared to other grades of stainless steel and all metal products in general. There are different versions of the material, with low and high carbon content. The sheet and UNS S30400 stainless steel strip specifications are different, and the applications of the different versions of the material are different. The low carbon version, 304L is very good for welding applications as they have less carbide precipitation and localized corrosion.

H-beam - H-beam is stronger than I-beam, but it requires more effort to produce. instead of being rolled together as one part, H-beam is made from three separate pieces and welded together. This makes each part stronger because you are using the milling equipment three times to reinforce the material, rather than using the equipment one at a time to fabricate an item. Overall, H-beams are much heavier than I-beams and can withstand more force and stress.
I-beam - is the most common beam in our inventory. I-beams have a center web that can only be rolled as far as the rolling mill equipment can handle (5/8"). I-beams are lighter in weight, which is why they are used so often. The I-beam is also a complete piece of metal. It is rolled from a single part. It can be hot rolled or laser fused.
