Hongguan
2205 stainless steel strip is a duplex stainless steel strip consisting of 22% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum, and 4.5% nickel-nitrogen alloy. It has high strength, good impact toughness, and good overall and local stress corrosion resistance. 2205 material is lighter than other stainless grades, making it more economical. This strip is particularly suitable for temperatures ranging from -50°F to +600°F. Due to its superior strength and excellent corrosion resistance, high-quality 2205 stainless steel strip is widely used in oil and gas pipelines, ships, high-pressure storage tanks, and high-pressure pipelines, etc. 2205 has higher mechanical strength than 904l, but 2205 is not suitable for temperatures above 300°C or complex forming.
